2013 har været et skønt år for Kennel Badgers Drift, først et dejligt besøg i Shrewsbury, Shropshire i marts måned hos Kim, Matt, Isobel og Henry. Vi måtte naturligvis besøge Crufts på Gundog Day 9 marts. Derudover er der blevet bestået en del prøver, og der er kommet lidt flere titler til, det er bl.a. blevet til en ny Dansk Udstillings Champion titel DKCH(U) til vores dejlige Ella, og ligeså dejlige mor Meghan, som i forvejen er DKCH(U) erhvervede sig titlen KLBCH (klubchampion). På prøvesiden er det også blevet til lidt flere titler, Meghan har fået yderligere 2 lydighedstitler: KTH-B og KTH-S, Ella har gjort sig fortjent til RallyO titlen RØM (Rally Øvet Mester) og har som den første danske Welsh nogensinde bestået Elite Schweissprøven på 1000 meter/ 20 timer med 1.pr, endnu mere fantastisk, når man selv har opdrættet hende :-) Her følger lidt highlights fra året der gik:

March: Went to Shrewsbury, Shropshire to visit Kim, Matt, Isobel and Baby Henry and had a lovely time :-) We also went to Crufts on Gundog Day March 9. Great experience all in all, so many adorable Welsh. If you truly love the dual-purpose aspect of the WSS, you wouldn´t want to miss the Gamekeepers´ Classes in the Gamekeepers´ Ring...what charming & fabulous working gundogs. Another thing you shouldn´t miss is the WSSC stand, so many nice things to buy !

21 April: Ella´s second RallyO title: Ella passes her third RallyO competition in Advanced Class and gains the title RØM

9 May: BOB & Club Champion: Meghan goes BOB/Best of Breed at the Gundog Show at Stepping under judge Mr Vidar Gundetjern, Norway. Furthermore she receives her 4th Club Certificate thus gaining the title KLBCH (Club Champ.)

8 June: Obedience title for Meghan: Meghan gains the title KTH -B (Danish Kennel Club obedience competition)

18 August: Elite Tracking Trial 1000m/20 hr: Ella passes the Elite Tracking Trial of 1000 metres 20-hour old trail with a 1st as the first Danish WSS ever to have passed this trial.

25 August: New Show Champion at Badgers Drift: At the Danish Kennel Club Show in Varde Ella receives her 3rd CC and gains the title of Danish Show Champion DKCH(U) under judge Mrs Ricky Lochs-Romans, Holland.

This is what she wrote about Ella : 3 years, from nose to tail very typical, strong, powerful and elegant, beautiful head and ears, lovely eye and expression, lovely pigmentation from nose to tail, front and back normally angulated, typical roached over the loin, deep red and good white, dog with lots of quality.

16 November: Another Obedience title for Meghan: Meghan gains her 3rd Obedience title all in all, this time the KTH-S (Danish Kennel Club obedience competition)
